I was born in 1996. I received my Bachelor’s degree in International Trade from Istanbul Aydın University with a full scholarship. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in finance. Subsequently, I completed my MSc in Finance at Istanbul University, School of Business, where I wrote my thesis on liquidity and bid-ask spreads in financial markets.
In August 2021, during my MSc studies, I was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Economics and Finance at Gelisim University. After four months, in December 2021, I joined the Finance Chair position at Istanbul University, School of Business, where I am currently continuing my academic career. I am now a PhD candidate at the same institution, actively working on my doctoral dissertation. My primary research interests lie in market microstructure and high-frequency trading. I also maintain a strong interest in corporate finance.
