I was born in Ankara in 1998 and started my undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2016. During my time at METU, I actively competed for six years on both the university’s Basketball and Korfball teams. My academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of statistics, finance, and technology in Computational Finance, Algorithmic Trading, and Machine Learning / Deep Learning. After graduating in 2022, I began my MSc in Financial Mathematics at the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Middle East Technical University (METU), in 2024. For the past 1.5 years, I have been working as a Data Scientist, focusing on building systems that works with statistical modeling and machine learning to solve real-world problems—especially in the energy and finance domains.
